I've got the rollercoaster fever!! XD

Ahhh! The roller coaster I rode last summer in Japan, at Fuji-Q-Highlands amusement park in Fujiyoshida! XD I can't believe I actually rode it. It scared me, but my inner thrill self couldn't resist! :D

This is Dodonpa. A coaster that uses air pressure to catapult you from 0 - 106 MPH in 1.8 seconds! This incredible machine, built by S&S coasters as one of their Thrust-Air 2000 models, is one of the few left operating in the world.

I got the real treat of launching at that breakneck speed over the incredible overbanked curve, and into that classic top-hat element: Straight up 90 degrees and straight back down over 100 feet high in the air. All I can say is: AWWWWW YEAAAAAAHHH!!! XD :D

Yes, it's true! After going to Elitch Gardens the Saturday prior to this one (June 20th) I just have this craving for RollerCoaster Thrills!! I'm sure some of my fellow Theme Park Thrill Seekers can relate. ;-) Ya know, the classic sound of polyurethane wheels swooshing down tubular steel rails, the rickety vibrations and roar of wooden coasters hurtling down the track, the avid screams and musical echoes of mortal terror and laughing delight of a train as it careens away through inversions and drops? XD

Anyway, besides literally craving those feels and G-forces (Which I'm ironically calculating right now in a summer physics class for me college degree), I also wanted to update everyone on what's been going on lately.

So! For anyone wanting to follow me on Steam, I have changed my name to LucasCat of RollerCoaster Clan, simply cause I just couldn't help myself, lol!


Also, I apologize for the lack of videos recently, painting part-time as a summer job, and going to Calculus-Based Physics class has really taxed my energy and time. Don't worry though, I'm definitely NOT through with any of the video and fun stuff going here! 
I especially can't wait for the future plans I have!! XD Surprises galore await everyone here and on YouTube! :D


But... patience young, padawan. It will come in time. ;-)


And yes, yes it involves RollerCoasters. Why wouldn't it? :-P


Anyway, gotta calculate some forces exerted on objects now! I shall see/hear/have fun with you all soon in another video/post/adventure!
